First Trip to the Zoo

Addison's first trip to the zoo proved to be a little unevently as far as she was concerned. We thought she would actually pay attention to the animals since one of our friends sons showed interest and he is a month younger, however no luck here. Our little princess liked the people and kids a whole lot more than the animals.

Actually, she did like the wolves (we think she thought they looked like callie), the gorillas, and the anteaters. Other than the animals I just mentioned, she could care less. Oh well, there is always next year...

9 Months Old

Well, Addison turned 9 months old on July 26th. I can't believe how much she has grown and accomplished just in the last month. Not only does she have two teeth in the bottom, but now two more on the top as well.

She is constantly chattering up a storm, of course saying da-da over and over. Playing patty cake is one of her favorite activities. The clapping and laughing happen quite a bit throughout the day.

Baby einstein movies have become mommy and daddy's best friend. Now we can put in one of the movies and she is engaged and intrigued for the whole 30 minutes, which rocks for us. We knew she liked other children, but she even likes them on televisions by jumping, laughing, and clapping her hands when she sees them.

She also is eating adult food quite a bit. Everytime we have a plate of food we have to give her some, if not she starts making grunting noises for it. Some of the favorites we have now are potatoes, bread, muffins, baby ravioli, and cheese.

Daddy put her pants on her head...

The little Ballerina

8 Months Old

Addison is constantly surprising the both of us daily. She is cruising all around the house now and into everything. She definitely has developed quite the personality. She is very headstrong and doesn't ever want to take no for an answer. Sound familiar, I know.

She is standing holding on with one hand and trying her best to walk. She loves Callie and tries to climb on her all the time, although Callie really doesn't like her very much. Addison also is eating more solid foods and loving all food, all the time. Luckily, the doctor says we needn't worry she may be a healthy child, but also growing tall, thank goodness.

Below in the pictures we went to meet Brook for dinner. Of course she is representing KD with her lady bug outfit Nana got her.

The 4th of July

The Fourth

Well, I am really slacking at keeping up our princess's website. I will start back with the 4th weekend. Addison got to travel to Nashville to meet her new friend Presley for the first time. She had a blast playing with a big girl and was so excited to see the sparklers and neon glow necklaces.

Once fireworks started she loved seeing them in the air however, whenever the boom sounded she would close her eyes. we thought it was adorable! We were so thrilled that she wasn't scared and loved every minute of it!!
